DescriptionThis image depicts a group of thirteen young boys playing in and around a wading pond at the Zoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Nine of these children are in the pond while the other four are standing just to the left of it. Two of the boys in the pond are engaging in horseplay. One is attempting to get the other to put his head in the water, two other boys in the pond are both wearing white hats with the words "Kahn's Stores" on them. The other children are either wearing newsboy style caps or fedoras. Of the thirteen children present, only six of them are looking at the camera. The pond itself consist of a large cement half-circle full of water. Behind the pond is a large grass area with several branching dirt pathways cutting through it. Numerous trees, both large and small, have been planted throughout the grass area and partially shade it. A row of small leafless trees can be seen on the right side of the pond planted in the dirt.On View
