DescriptionA photograph of two distinct portraits set side-by-side on the same plate from the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The portrait on the left depicts Pitt Ross, a son of Territorial Governor Edmund G. Ross. Pit wears a light-colored felt bowler hat, a single-breasted slack suit with a round pin on the lapel, and a dark tie ticked beneath a starched white collar. Pitt is seated, looks off into the distance, has a beard a mustache and short hair.

The portrait on the right depicts a young man in a single-breasted suit, wide brimmed hat, slacks, collared shirt and tie. He stands at the center of the frame and looks at the viewer. His arms rest at his side with his fists in balls. He does not smile. He has dark hair parted down the middle and tucked beneath the hat. His suit jacket, shirt, and pants are dark-colored and his tie is bright, shinning, and light-colored.
