DescriptionA probe used for exploring wounds and other openings. This particular probe has a turned wooden handle, a "bullet" end thicker than the rest of the shaft, and is made of steel. Because the probe is long and thin, it was likely primarily used for operations involving the urethra, uterus, and small openings.
