DescriptionThis woman's briefcase is a chestnut-brown color and is rectangular. There is visible stitching on the edges of the briefcase, a handle on the top portion attached by metal rings, and a keyhole lock just beneath it. The front surface of the briefcase showcases two stickers and what appears to be a postcard, with the postcard reading "Excelsior Hotel / Naples" in large white lettering against a background of a blue and orange landscape. The sticker on the lower left portion is oval-shaped and reads "Standard Airlines" in bold black lettering against a yellow background featuring an airplane, while various destinations are named on the top, and the words "Passenger-Express" are beneath it. The second sticker, on the upper right corner, is circular and features a contoured, vibrant red outer bordering and reading "Compagnie Générale Transatlantique" in blue lettering, while a blue stripe borders an inner yellow circle showcasing the letter "F" in large, bold, black lettering. Below this reads "Tourist / Class" in large, bold white lettering, followed by "French Line" in smaller, blue, loopy lettering at the bottom. The other side of the briefcase's surface similarly features various stickers and a postcard. The left portion showcases a rectangular-shaped postcard, which appears to be taped down, reading "ParkHotel / AlpenHof / Garmisch" in large, bold, blue lettering, as white mountains against a blue background sit above the text. The middle of the briefcase features a sticker showcasing an illustration of the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles with trees and foliage surrounding it and the words "Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel" in dark, serif lettering below it. The right-hand corner of the briefcase showcases a circular, red sticker reading "Maddux / Air Lines" in large, serif lettering, while an illustration of an airplane is in front of a white line drawing of a cloud design. The light pink oval-shaped sticker on the lower right-hand corner reads "Linea Francesa" in white, loopy cursive lettering on the top, while featuring an illustration of a plane ticket confirming the name of the owner, Phyllis Flanders. On View
