DescriptionThis folding needle booklet and kit is covered in a mustard yellow textile with a pearlescent button clasp, and opens to reveal a neatly arranged interior of various needles mounted on stitched cloth pages. The front reveals a stitched floral pattern. The booklet’s palette consists of cream, deep burgundy, and gold. Needles are organized by size and function, held in place with stitched ribbon and arranged against woven fabric backings. Gold embossed lettering on the burgundy strip reads: “G.W. THOMAS & Co. / REDITCH, ENGLAND.” Additional printed categories on the booklet include: “CREWEL 5/9,” “SHARPS 5/10,” “BETWEENS 5/10,” “CHENILLE 20–22,” “TAPESTRY 20–22.”On View
