DescriptionThis ammunition box encompasses a rectangular form and is durably constructed of steel. Utilized for holding ammunition, ammunition boxes similar to this one became recognized for serving as an airtight and watertight container, providing a higher degree of protection. The lid serves as the box's top surface and includes a rectangular handle that is able to lie flat at the top. One side of the box appears to feature a hinge mechanism, while the other appears to include a rectangular clasp-like mechanism, likely to provide additional security. The letters "SHT" appear to be engraved on one side of the box, possibly serving as an acronym for the manufacturer. Specks of yellow remnants are visible on the front surface, possibly indicating the box's former color. On View
