DescriptionDr. Martin Luther King Jr. looks out of a car window upon leaving the airport in Montgomery, Alabama on the second to last day of the Selma to Montgomery march in this black and white photograph. In the foreground Dr. King sits in the front seat of a car. He is looking to the left with his head turned, the car window has been rolled about half-way down. He is wearing a light colored cap and shirt. The back seat of the car is also visible where two men are sitting in suits. A few more cars and a paved road can be seen through the car's back window.
