DescriptionCarpenter's flat, specialty wooden groove molding plane with metal nails used primarily to enhance sliding screen compatibility according to the printed text on the object's handle. Object does not have a blade. Text on the handle of the plane reads: "USE THIS TOOL FOR FITTING BURROWES' PATENT SLIDING SCREENS. - E T BURROWES CO., - - MANUFACTURERS, - - PORTLAND, MAINE. - IF SCREENS DO NOT RUN EASILY, GROOVE OUT THE SHALLOW GROOVE A LITTLE WITH THIS PLANE."
