DescriptionRectangular grooving plane with wooden wedge and metal blade. The upper back edge has been rounded to allow for a better grip. The edge of the blade is flush with the sole of the plane, which is convex and used to carve semicircular grooves or dados. One side of the plane has a hole that provides access to the plane to allow for the changing of blades. This side also has a horizontal depression near the top of the object to allow for better tool orientation and guidance. "O. HUDSON" is carved into the front of the object, next to a manufacturer's stamp.On View
