DescriptionThis object is a relatively small surgical hand saw used for various ENT (ear, nose, and throat) operations. The blade is offset from the handle at an obtuse angle, with the small, serrated edge facing outwards. The handle widens slightly towards the base of the object, and has small, cross-stitched serrations. Mild to moderate levels of corrosion are visible along the blade and within the serrations on the handle of the object.
