DescriptionThis object is a bronze sigil, a curved, flattened blade used to scrape the body clean of oil and debris. The object's blade is curved to approximately 90° and widens towards the center, at the curve. The tip is narrower than the midsection of the blade, and points slightly upwards. A rectangular strip of metal is oriented parallel to the bottom portion of the object, and is joined to it, creating a handle. Heavy patina and corrosion is visible on the object. On View
