DescriptionThis object is an elongated, leaf-shaped bronze spearhead. An elevated, central rib runs along the length of the spearhead on both sides of the object, and connects to the short shaft emerging at the object's base. The short shaft is blunted at the end. In Bronze Age Cyprus, metal weaponry intended to be buried with the deceased was often physically inhibited from use through the blunting of the blades or bending of the shafts. This object is covered in green patina and other signs of chemical decay.
