DescriptionThis ceramic drinking cup survives as several separate fragments. The largest fragments exhibit a dark green, lead glaze on the object's exterior. Small bands of raised dots line the edges along the exterior of the cup. A small, circular handle on the side of the object is intact. The glaze applied and patterns are indicative of late Sasanian pottery or early Islamic Mesopotamian work.
