DescriptionThis pin is made of plastic and ribbon fabric. At the top of the pin is a white plastic circle with a red image printed on it. The image is of a fireman's helmet in front of a ladder, bugle, and hoook that are crossing each other in the middle. From the pin, three ribbons are attached at slight angles from each other so that there is minimal overlap. From left to right the ribbons are red, white, and blue. Each ribbon has gold lettering printed on it horizontally so that one has to turn their head to read it. The red ribbon contains information about the location of the event in "ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO" and the dates on "MAY 28-29-30, 1934." The middle ribbon has the name of "THE NEW MEXICO / STATE FIREMEN'S ASSOCIATION,' and the blue ribbon has the name of the events which are the "12TH ANNUAL CONVENTION / AND FIFTH FIRE COLLEGE." The ribbons are cut at an angle on the bottom edges. On View
