DescriptionThis badge is made of gold metal and faded red fabric. At the top of the pin is a metal gold rectangle where the ribbon and a gold pendant is attached The gold pendant is a small circle made of brass with a firemans symbol on it. The symbol is of a fireman's helmet in front of a ladder, axe, and hook crossed at the middle. The ribbon lays underneath it and has gold lettering printed onto the fabric. The ribbon is shaped like a verticle rectangle cut at an angle at the bottom. The text gives information about the "N. M. STATE / FIREMEN'S / CONVENTION / AND / FIRE COLLEGE " which was held in "CARLSBAD / MAY 26-28, 1947." The text is formated vertically with each one word or few words formated above the other going down the ribbon.On View
