DescriptionObject is a surface-mounted hand operated corn grinder. A C-type clamp operated by a thumbscrew located at the bottom of the object is used to affix the machine to a flat, stable surface. A hopper with a funnel-shaped opening is located at the top of the object. A metal crank with a wooden handle is located behind the object and used to operate the grinding mechanism inside the hopper. A large metal latch is located at the opposite end of the hopper, and can be opened by using the two thumb screws located on either side. Stamped text on both sides of the hopper reads "PAT. / AUG.31'09" / E.C. SIMMONS / KEEN / KUTTER / U.S.A."
