DescriptionThis object is a long, cylindrical stainless steel probe comprised of an operating end and a handle. The operating end is a long, cylindrical probe with a flattened, rectangular section at the tip. The operating end gradually widens towards the middle of the object to join the handle, which is perforated to enhance grip. Mild discoloration is visible across the object. The wire is slightly bent and warped. Object was likely used to move and manipulate smaller, finer tissues during surgery.
