DescriptionThis image depicts an escarpment on the West Mesa of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The foreground of the image is taken up by a small dirt pathway with an orange construction barrel on its side near it. A dry and flattened tumble weed can be seen next to the barrel. Beyond this is a barbed wire fence. Beyond the fence is the downward slope of the escarpment. This slope is covered in large black volcanic rocks. All of the land depicted in this photograph, apart from the volcanic rock, is covered in weeds and various types of desert plants.
