DescriptionDelivery boys and employees of the Bryant Co Delivery Company pose with two cars, one motorcycle, three bicycles and one horse drawn cart on West Gold Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A small shed is on top of the cart pulled by a horse and advertises the delivery company with BRYANT CO painted on a sign. Men and boys pose with their respective transportation device. The man second from the left holds an open notebook in his hand with a writing utensil in his right in a writing position. He wears a knit sweater with a vest, tie, and starched white separable collar beneath. He wears a bucket hat with an upward turned brim. The others in the group wear varying styles of hats including a fedora, bucket hats, and newsboy flat caps with layered with sweaters, jackets, vests, and some in ties. The employees are standing in front of the Hope Building at 220 West Gold Avenue and Charles E. Boldt Furniture. A Hatter & Cleaner is next door and across an alleyway is another office building advertised as C. Fisher & Co.Bryant Company was an African-American operated business owned by General N. Bryant.
