DescriptionThe Gen. J.A. Williamson steam locomotive of the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad is stopped in front of the armory building at South First Street in New Town Albuquerque, New Mexico. A young man sits behind the controls of the locomotive and props his elbow on the windowsill and leans his torso out. He wears a plaid button-down, a wide-brimmed hat, and is clean shaven. There are fringed decorations dangling out of the locomotive window under his elbow. Three more men stand on the ground outside the train car and lean against it. Two of them wear white button-downs, suspenders, and dark trousers with hats. The last man in the standing row wears a three-piece suit with a bow tie and bowler hat and has a mustache. There are antlers mounted to the front of the engine. The car is carrying metal and wooden boxes and cargo.
