DescriptionTwo black and white photographs stacked on top of each other. The first phase is of a pile of laundry being exploded in a desert landscape of yucca and cacti. An ejection of smoke and tattered clothing hangs mid air above. The surrounding hills are studded with cacti and a murky sky above. The second phase is of charred clothes hanging from an ocotillo. A pair of shorts, two pairs of socks, and a burnt shirt are draped over the fronds of a desert bush as additional vegetation recedes across distant hills.
