DescriptionThis image depicts a wooden gate in front of an adobe building on Central Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This gate is worn and uneven. The gate is set into an adobe wall with a small gap between the top of the gate and the upper portion of the wall. The gate has a metal lock and is reinforced by lengths of metal in the shape of a cross. On either side of the gate, nailed into the adobe wall, are wooden signs. The sign on the left side of the gate says "Manzano Day School" while the sign on the right says "1801".On View
