DescriptionThis image depicts Nanny Schulte, an infant, and several large turkeys. The adult is holding the child on her right hip and a cloth sack of feed in her left hand. The turkeys are all clustered around her feet. One bird is stretching up to put its head into the bag of feed. A large full tree can be seen behind the individuals and the turkeys.

The text on the back of the photograph states "Nanny wasn't dress up. And she insisted on having a picture of her turkeys".
