DescriptionFour long lines of men, and four boys, stand and sit in front of the Elks Club and Opera House in Albuquerque, New Mexico. American flags hang in six of the windows and above the entrance to the building, signifying New Mexico's entrance into the United States earlier that year. All the men are dressed in two piece suits and hats. The four boys sit in the first row on the right side of the building. Nine of the men in that same row hold musical instruments. A sign above the left end of the building reads "Headquarters 32nd Annual New Mexico Fair." Posters hang on both sides of the door. The poster on the left-hand side of the door reads "Kingsbury Hats" (partial); the poster on the right-hand side of the door reads "Flynn-Johnson Fight Photos" above a picture of a Black man in boxing shorts.
