DescriptionA wood-sided, one-and-a-half house in Albuquerque, New Mexico, stands on a stone foundation with a covered front porch that has been screened. The roof is pitched with two brick chimneys and wooden decorations on the peaks of the roofline. There are leaded glass windows in the front gable. A small boy sits in the driver's seat of a small, metal automobile on the paved sidewalk and a person stands in the open front doorway of the right side of the house. There are small trees planted in the dirt yard. A wash line is behind the house with a pair of shorts hanging on it. Other homes are in the background.

Handwriting on the back of the postcard reads, " Dear Verne, we live in half of this house. It is Guynul [?] and his auto in front and Frank in the door. Ha. The house back of this is a mud house called adobe there are lots of them here. They are almost like a sod house. Love to kisses to you all. Lizzie"
