DescriptionSamuel M. Porterfield's house at 602 South Edith Street in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The stone house is on a platformed foundation in a dirt patch with two medium-sized trees in the front yard. The house has peaked roofs over the front porch and gables on at least three sides. There are lead decorations above the windows. Lace curtains can be seen through the glass of the front windows. Wooden-sided homes are to the right of the frame and in the background.

Handwritten on the back of the postcard are the words, "Home of S.M. Porterfield Albuquerque, N. Mex"
