DescriptionA shallow trench is dug for the construction of new sidewalks along a street in Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences), New Mexico. Piles of dirt are are on either side of the trench and houses are along the right of the frame. A car is parked near the shoulder of a graded dirt road in the background. The improvements of the road and construction of the sidewalks were part of projects with the New Deal.On View
