DescriptionFair Grounds Court at 6522 East Central in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The auto court is a U-shaped one-story building with rough stucco facing. Carports are beside some of the units. A blue-ink arrow marks the door of one unit. Landscaping includes a grove of trees in the center of the courtyard, and a mix of cactus and bushes elsewhere. There is a neon band over the doors on the left-most building. A neon sign reading "Fair Grounds Court" stands out front. Traffic striping on Route 66 can be seen at the bottom of the photo.Handwriting on the back reads, "Sat. night here for tonight. I marked where I am sleeping. Mother”.
