DescriptionA group of Highland bagpipers is led by a drum major in a bearskin hat in the New Mexico State Fair Parade along Lomas Boulevard Northeast in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The pipers carry their bagpipes and wear plaid kilts with matching sashes across their chest. They have fur bags around their waist. Many of the marchers wear sunglasses as they march past Leach Furniture and Billie's Fashion Fabrics. The stores have Googie-style signs. A crowd of spectators watches the parade from the side of the road.
