DescriptionThis vintage baby doll features a molded composition head with painted features, including faint eyebrows, rosy cheeks, and red lips. The doll’s eyes are of the “sleeping” variety, designed to close when laid flat and open when upright. The limbs are jointed at the shoulders and hips, and the hands and feet show sculptural detailing. The doll is dressed in a long, flowing white christening gown with lace trim and embroidery at the yoke and cuffs. The gown is made of thin cotton or muslin, gathered at the chest, with a double skirt layered in lace.On View
