DescriptionThis hand-colored map depicts the Pacific Ocean and a small portion of the west coasts of South and Central america on the right hand side. At the top of the map, there is a sliver of land labeled "TERRA INCOGNITA." In the middle of the map are the words: "MAR/DEL ZUR." Slightly below and to the right, it says, "MARE PACIFI/CUM." In the lower left corner there is a scale in a frame with the words "Milliaria Germania Communia" below the scale. There are four unclothed angel babies behind and around the frame. In the upper right corner, there is a frame with the words "MAR DEL ZVR/Hispanis/MARE PACIFICUM" inside it. The frame is surrounded by two unclothed angel babies and three merchants.
