DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of the chapel at Taos Pueblo in northern New Mexico. Several flat-roofed, Pueblo-style homes are visible in the background. Sunshine permeates the left side of the chapel, accentuating the stepped architectural ornament of the roofline. An adobe wall fills the lower third of the composition and features smooth, rounded edges. Portions of the clay veneer have begun to flake.
