DescriptionAn altar with five figures standing in the center of a room with a wooden altar behind them. A ladder is to the right of the frame. On the floor are tools and pots. This is the Powamu Altar of the Hopi Indians, on display in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the Fred Harvey Indian Building. Handwriting on the back reads, "Dear Daddy and Ronald, I was so hot the night before last we almost roasted and last night we almost froze. We are all well. Robert".
