DescriptionThe Crossroads Motel at 1001 Central Avenue Northeast in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The two-story motel is brick with light blue doors to the rooms. The entrances to the rooms are along breezeways of the L-shaped building. An office is near the street with a sign attached to the flat roof that reads "Crossroads Motel". A second sign is attached to the roof on the other end of the building. Six cars are parked in the parking lot and a road sign advertises Route 66 in the median of the intersection. Handwriting on the back reads, "Dec 2 Dear Aunt Lydia, We left Salina at 3 Mon afternoon. We stayed at Guymon, Oklahoma last nite. Nice trip so far. Cool here tonite - Warm days. Saw snow north of us on mts. We both feel real good. Much Love - Mildred & Chet".On View
