DescriptionA woven Navajo blanket using red, black, blue and white in a stripe pattern and a zig-zag pattern. There are green details in the center of the blanket. Handwriting around the edge of the front reads, "Dear Mrs. Pohl, Isn't this a gay blanket? But just think of the work it represents. The Museum at Albuquerque is so interesting! The adobe houses through New Mexico are equally [interesting]. Even Kansas is such a beautiful country with its hills and green pastures. There there is the desert with its odd vegetation and sandy soil. Sincerely your friend, M.E.B.".On View
