DescriptionElle of Ganado sits at the entrance to a hogan near Fred Harvey's Indian Building in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she demonstrates Navajo weaving. She is seated on a pelt on the ground and a small child is seated beside her playing with a string. Elle is wearing a green top, beaded necklaces, a striped skirt, and wears a blanket over her shoulders. Text printed on the front reads, "Elle of Ganado Maker of the President's Blanket. The best weaver among the Navahoes in Fred Harvey Indian Building, Albuquerque N.M."
