DescriptionMen and women stand on the sidewalk leading to the entrance of the Fred Harvey Indian Building in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Native American vendors sit on the edges of the sidewalk with their pottery for sale nearby. A train is parked on the tracks in front of the depot and passengers walk along the platform in the background. In front of the Indian Building are grass lawns. Handwriting on the back reads, "Albuquerque New Mexico On trip to Europe had to change here to connect with a small dinky train for giving Mexicans back to Mexico from Colo. points - Was only woman passenger - no good accomodations but [?] to connect at El Paso for S.P. train to New Orelans and the south. Sat up from midnight to early a.m. The only train connected. Went to hotel at El Paso - had bath and slept until 3 then on to Juarez, Mexico, see sights and caught sleep about 9. Texas seems big as all U.S.".On View
