DescriptionCovered Wagon Souvenir Shop at 14001 East Central Avenue at the west entrance to Tijeras Canyon near Albuquerque, New Mexico. The shop is on Route 66. An unidentified man in a plaid shirt sits on the driver’s bench of a fake covered wagon attached to the side of the store. Painted above a window in the wagon is a sign that reads, “Albuquerque or Bust”. On the side of the wagon is a small sign that says, “Use STEPS on other side”. Wooden oxen are hitched to the wooden driver's seat of the prop wagon and cacti are growing at the feet of the oxen. “Covered Wagon Souvenirs” is written on the bonnet of the wagon.
