DescriptionThis matchbook does not contain matches. When closed, on the front and printed on a black background are two elves dressed in traditional German clothing. They are clinking beer steins over a table with another beer stein on it. Above this scene is the word "Tavern." Below the image in cream-colored text are the words "Made in U.S.A./THE DIAMOND MATCH CO. N.Y.C." On the reverse side, on a cream-colored background, it says "A & P BAR/and Dispensary/Free Delivery/Dial-23374/911 S. Second/Albuquerque, N.M./CLOSE COVER BEFORE STRIKING."The bar, located at 911 South Second Street in Albuquerque, was the longest bar in the Southwest, measuring 85 feet long.
