DescriptionThis matchbook advertises the Mint Bar in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Mint Bar was in downtown Albuquerque, which was in the process of rebuilding after the end of the Prohibition era in 1933 ushered more bars and drinking establishments. The booklet has an off-white background with green side borders on the front face. "Mint Bar" appears in large green letters with "Dial 2-0725" placed directly below it. A thin green line runs horizontaly across the face of the booklet. The address of the bar is written on the front, which reads "212- 3rd ST. N. W. / Albuquerque, N. Mex." On the back of the booklet reads "Albuquerque's / oldest bar / liquor / wine / cold beer / to take out" written in green. Smaller text at the bottom of the back side reads "MADE IN THE U.S.A." "MATCH CORP. OF AMERICA - CHICAGO" is written in green on the bottom fold.On View
