DescriptionDe Anza Motor Lodge at 4301 East Central Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The motor lodge is a pueblo style with stone pillars on the street-facing corners of the buildings. A tee-pee shaped sign near the street reads "De Anza Motor Lodge". Cars are parked near the front of the room entrances and an outdoor swimming pool is fenced near the main office. A yellow label is stuck to the top right of the postcard that instructs the reader to call a phone number to make reservations. Handwriting on the back reads, "8/6/79 Dear Ken: We stayed at this motel while we were in Albuquerque. Just before you came to visit us. Big earth shake just about 70 miles from us. We didn't feel a thing, but Uncle Tom said it was quite noticable in Livermore. Lots of damage to buildings and fruit crops not far from the Monterey Peninsula where we stayed at the Dunes. Love, Grandpa and Grandma".
