DescriptionSquare-cornered sticker endorsing Deb Haaland for Representative of New Mexico's 1st District. It has a white background with navy text and a gold Zia symbol. The Zia symbol is representative of the sun, and is a solid circle with four lines, or rays, emanating from each of the four main sides of the circle. There is a gold box along the left end that is oriented vertically. Printed vertically, in navy and turquoise text inside the gold box it says, "#imwithdeb." The main text on the sticker says, "DEB/HAALAND/DEMOCRAT FOR CONGRESS." In a tiny outlined box at the bottom of the sticker it says, "Paid for by Deb for Congress. Produced by 4DCS."Haaland won the election to represent New Mexico’s 1st District in the U.S. Congress. She is a member of the Pueblo of Laguna and a 35th generation New Mexican. After running for New Mexico Lieutenant Governor in 2014, Secretary Haaland became the first Native American woman to be elected to lead a State Party. She is one of the first Native American women to serve in Congress. In Congress, she focused on environmental justice, climate change, missing and murdered indigenous women, and family-friendly policies.
