DescriptionPolitical poster printed on plastic and endorsing Deb Haaland for Representative for New Mexico's 1st District. The background is a yellow or gold and has light and dark turquoise text and a Zia symbol. The Zia symbol is representative of the sun, and is a solid circle with four lines, or rays, emanating from each of the four main sides of the circle. There is a dark turquoise box along the bottom of the poster with yellow text that says, "DEMOCRAT FOR CONGRESS." On the main part of the poster, it says, "DEB[Zia symbol]/HAALAND." In a white box outlined in turquoise on the side, it says, "Paid for by Deb Haaland for Congress." The poster is two-sided and is the same on the reverse side. The material is folded along the top of the poster and sealed on the short edges of the poster.

Haaland won the election to represent New Mexico’s 1st District in the U.S. Congress. She is a member of the Pueblo of Laguna and a 35th generation New Mexican. After running for New Mexico Lieutenant Governor in 2014, Secretary Haaland became the first Native American woman to be elected to lead a State Party. She is one of the first Native American women to serve in Congress. In Congress, she focused on environmental justice, climate change, missing and murdered indigenous women, and family-friendly policies.
