DescriptionAn official scenic historic marker sign about the Church of San Felipe de Neri in the plaza of Old Town Albuquerque. The sign is across the street from the entrance of the church. It reads: "Established in 1706 by Francisco Cuervo y Valdez, successor of De Vargas as Governor of New Mexico and founder of the Villa de Albuquerque. Lt. Zebulon Pike in his diary refers to this church."
