DescriptionParade participants line up in front of the Palace of Governors in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They are participating in the Santa Fe Fiesta parade, which was an annual event commemorating the re-conquest of New Mexico by Don Diego de Vargas after the Pueblo Revolt. Young men in robes of different Catholic orders stand in groups on a wooden ramp. Spectators are standing on the roof of the Palace of the Governors to watch. A sign posted near the groups reads "Everyone south of Palace Ave for Pageant".
