DescriptionA pentagonal sterling silver compact on a short cable chain, featuring a lid with an enameled pink rose and leaves on a black background. The lid is also decorated with a wide, circular band of chased grooves, interrupted periodically by depressions that create X-shaped patterns when viewed in raking light. An outer band of design places flowers in each of the five corners, connected by repeating leaves of graduated sizing. On View
