DescriptionThis souvenir space capsule desk ornament is engraved and presented to Harry Batten with the words “First Rendezvous in Space, W.M. Schirra & T.P. Stafford, 12/15-16/1965." The space capsule has broken off of the stand and base that make the ornament a paperweight. The object is in 3 pieces: wooden base and stone stand, large chip of acrylic to hold up an acrylic encased capsule heatshield. The space capsule is attached to the base and juts out at an angle simulating orbit.On View
