DescriptionThis is an illustration of the Von Borosini coat of arms used on the front of an early map of the Arctic. There is a circlular shield divided into four quadrants in shades of blue and green. In the upper left and lower right quadrants is an illustration of the Reichsadler, or German Imperial Eagle. In the upper right and lower left quadrants, there are anchors. The eagle and the anchor also appear above the shield. The page has an elaborate gold border.
