DescriptionThis is a colored aerial map of the fortified city center of Bremen, Germany. There is a yellow and black line frame drawn around the the map. The map shows the wall of the city in lilac, blue, orange, and yellow. The city is divided into two parts by the Weser River, which runs horizontally through it. The river is colored blue and labeled "WESER FLUSS." There are many ships passing through it. Above the river, the city is labeled "DIE ALT STADT" and is colored in in sections of lilac, yellow, blue, and pink. Below the river, the city is labeled "DIE NEU STADT" and is colored in in lilac, with one blue section. There is a lettered map key in the upper right corner, and there are numbered map keys in the lower left and right corners. In the upper left corner, there is a shield with a key on it. In a thin pink box running horizontally across the top of the map, the title is printed in Latin and German. On the left side in Latin, it says, "BREMA, S. Rom. Imp. Civitas libera, cum primarüs aedificüs, plateis, foris/templis ichnographice delineata a MATTHAEO SEUTTERO, Geogr. Caefareo Aug. Vind." On the right side, in German, it says, "Grundriß des H. R. Reichs freyen Stadt BREMEN, mit den vornehmften Gebäuden,/Kïrchen, Straßen ũ: Märckte, entworfen von MATTH: SEUTTER, Kayfert Geogr. in Augfpurg." Centered at the top, below the pink box, it says, "Anjezo in Verlag bey TOBIAS CONRAD LOTTER, Geogr. in Augfburg."
