BiographyPierre Aveline (1656-1722) was an Early Modern engraver and publisher. He was the head of a family of artists, including his two sons, Pierre-Alexandre and Antoine. Aveline is best known for his reproductions of works by other artists. A native Parisian, he died there in 1722.
